Beginners - 10 km

Family
for the family category:
- the team must be registered by an adult which will be the team leader and take the responsibility for the underage participants in their team.
- the team must ride in group having maximum 2 minutes difference between the first and the last member of the group during the whole race.
- if one member of the team is giving up the whole team will be disqualified.
Prises and medals will be offered for the first 3 for each category
Hobby - 30 km

Rules
1. There is no minimum age limit for participation at Banat Mountain Bike Marathon 2011.
2. All participants in age till 14 yers will be assisted on the hole trail by an adult person.
3. The riders will attach the number given by the organizers in front of the bicycle on the handlebar.
4. The race number have to be on the bicycle all race long.
5. All bicycles used at Banat Mountain Bike Marathon 2011 have to be propelled by human power.
6. Wearing helmet is obligatory.
7. Every rider has to follow the instructions of the organizers and police.
8. Any external motorized help will attract disqualification.
9. The lack of fair-play behavior towards other riders will be punished with disqualification.
10. Preventing the actions of other riders, choosing shortcuts or substituting riders will attract disqualification.
11. Substituting main components during the race is acceptable.
12. If the competitor estimated that he was disadvantaged during the race, he can appeal to the Chief Commissioner, after finishing the race. The appeal will be presented in writing and signed by the Chief Commissioner in 15 minutes after rider's arrival .
13. If the complaint questioning one of the best out of the first five riders, the awards ceremony will be delayed until the final decision will be known.
14. Ignorance of the rules won't be accepted as an excuse.
15. Organizers are exempted from liability if the audience breaks theguiding marks during the.
16. Exceeding the time limit to complete the three tracks attract disqualification.
17. The rider that won't pass through all checkpoints from his category will be disqualified.
Organizational changes: the organizers reserves the right to change the rules and the conduct of the race until 4'th of August 2011. These possible changes will be published on the website bmm.bikeattack.ro and also on the notice boards placed at the start.
